Keiser University offers both Associate and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Health Services Administration that train students in the application of business principles to health care administration. Students will also develop an understanding of software systems used in administrative health care and become familiar with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Both programs are available at several campus locations, including online at Keiser University’s eCampus.
The associate degree provides instruction in basic health services administration skills. Students learn computer skills and software applications necessary in a health care business environment. The program prepares students in both business and health services administration, providing courses on business law, management and marketing principles, medical anatomy, physiology and terminology, and front office management.
Our bachelor's degree provides a basic understanding of health services administration and of the unique skills needed by a health services administrator. Topics include coding and billing, public and private health care, and financial and legal issues in health care.
For students who find going to a campus location a challenge, these programs are also available through Keiser University’s Online campus. This 100% online option gives students the flexibility, convenience and interactive support they need to earn a health services administration degree.
