Information Technology Management
Keiser University offers two options for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management program.
Degree completion program (Track 1):
The degree completion program is designed to prepare computer technicians who have already earned an associate degree in a computer-related field for roles as information technology professionals, supervisors, and managers. This completion program track is available at most Keiser University campus locations.
Track 2 degree program:
The Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Management (Track 2) prepares students with the knowledge and practical skills to function in information technology and related industries. No previous associate degree is required. This degree program is available at the West Palm Beach Flagship Residential campus.
Track 2 seeks to provide the theoretical fundamentals of information technology coupled with an appreciation and understanding of practical aspects and competencies required by the industry. This program is designed to foster innovation by emphasizing flexibility in the discipline of information technology management as a business problem-solving discipline. Students in this track may select a general concentration, or a concentration in Software Engineering, Web and Mobile Development, Network Security or Multimedia Technology.
Information Technology Management
In the completion program track, you will learn fundamental business concepts applicable to information technology management. At the same time, you will increase your knowledge of the business side of technology by studying and applying customer-centered problem analysis, design and implementation. Students gain expertise in completing enterprise-scale projects and developing the written and oral communication skills necessary for a successful management career.
In Track 2, you will be provided with a comprehensive background in information technology principles and techniques, the theoretical foundations of software development and deployment, and asset management and protection. In addition, students will develop an appreciation for the importance of excellent business acumen and communication skills.
Information Technology Management
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management will be prepared to begin a career in information technology, or transition from computer technicians to information technology professionals, supervisors, or managers.
