The research-based program focuses on the scientific study of psychology, critical evaluation of research and application of research principles to the field of psychology. In this program, students develop an understanding of general psychological principles and theories, including evolutionary psychology, psychopathology, human development, health psychology, and tests and measures. Students learn to appreciate diversity in individuals demonstrated through the application of multicultural methods of research and the understanding of psychological principles. Students will also utilize research methods to interpret and evaluate research data.
